Mesut Ozil is expected to be made official as a new Fenerbahce player today.
The Turkish-German midfielder will leave Arsenal after terminating his contract by mutual agreement.
There were many offers for the German from Europe as well as from America and China, but he decided to join the Turkish giant Fenerbahce.
The officialization of the Fenerbahce player is expected to take place during the evening hours.
Ozil himself has made an exciting statement that he will play for Fenerbahce, as he has often stated that he is a fan of the club from Istanbul.
“I will come to Istanbul tonight with my family. “Thank God for giving me the opportunity to represent this club.”
“I will wear the Fenerbahce shirt with great pride,” Ozil told Turkish television briefly.
The 32-year-old is leaving Arsenal after seven and a half years in London.
