English club Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is clear he will spend a lot again this month in the winter transfer window.
According to English media, Abramovich has the opportunity to benefit from the relaxation of the rules of UEFA Financial Fair Play this month.
The Blues declared on New Year’s Eve that they continue to “comply with UEFA criteria according to the rules of Financial Fair Play” when they announced a profit of 32.5 million pounds.
At ordinary times, Chelsea’s summer spending would have led the club to some issues with the FFP because clubs could not lose more than milionë 27 million in three seasons.
However, the relaxation of the rules by UEFA means that Chelsea is able to spend this month if they want.
The English media report that the Russian owner is ready and will not stop spending this transitional period to further strengthen the team. / Telegraph /
