Art with harsh criticism for Granit Xhaka in the red card accepted in the loss of Arsenal against Burnley
Mike Arteta has not spared criticism for Granit Xhaka in the 1-0 loss that Arsenal suffered at home to Burnley in the Premier League.
The Albanian midfielder was punished with a red card in the second half for unsportsmanlike conduct, leaving his team with ten players on the field.
The Gunners coach did not like this, saying about Xhaka that he received a meaningless red card.
“We missed the game by giving a meaningless red card. “You see what happened another 60/70 minutes, we had control of the game”, said Arteta after the match.
“The same word (for Nicolas Pepe’s red card weeks ago). And in these conditions, even worse. “When we are not winning matches, you can not do that.”
“[Lojtarët e mi] crossed the line and is not an excuse. “We just gave the match to the opponents”, Arteta added further.
Xhaka could be punished even more severely for that action, after grabbing the opposing player by the throat. /telegraph/
“Are you scratching your head as to what you can do?”
“Everyday.”
