Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has said that their fluctuating form is due to the lack of a regular starting lineup.
Arsenal are currently 11th in the Premier League after taking a point from nine possible in the last three games.
Arteta spoke before Sunday’s clash with Leeds United and showed Arsenal ‘weakness’.
“I do not like to use excuses. It is what it is. “We have to adapt and we have other players trying to do the job,” Arteta said initially.
“It takes stability. We need a team to play and we need consistency in the starting 11 to achieve that cohesion, chemistry and community. “We have not been able to do that.”
“It’s the context, it’s the situation, it’s Covid, it’s a weird year, [me] without pre-season – there are many factors.
“But I think we could still be in a much better place looking at the games we have won and the ones we have donated,” concluded the Spaniard. / Telegraphy /
