Chelsea denied a clear penalty against City – footage shows Rodrhguez’s intervention against Werner

Chelsea are currently losing 3-0 to Manchester City in the 17th week of the Premier League.

The Blues are failing to recover and this looks set to be their second loss in a few days, after that against Arsenal.

But in the first minutes of the match, Timo Werner was stopped by Rodri, and the referee and the VAR in that case were silent.

It seems that for Chelsea it would be 1-0, but so did the video assistant of the referee who allowed the game to continue.

City then scored three quick goals and now the second half is currently being played. /telegraph/
