Patrick Cutrone is set to return to the Wolverhampton Wanderers and could remain at the club to replace the injured Raul Jimenez.
Fiorentina signed the former Milan striker on loan with the purchase option in January 2020, but the Italian has scored just five goals in 34 appearances since then.
Viola lifted their obligation to buy in December and Cutrone is reportedly on the verge of returning to the Wolves.
According to the journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Cutrone is expected to stay at the club to replace Jimenez, who suffered a head injury in December and whose recovery time is not yet known.
Cutrone, 23, has not scored in 13 appearances in all competitions with Fiorentina so far this season. / Telegraph /
