Everton won 1-0 against Chelsea in the match valid for the 12th week in the Premier League.
The first half of the match was characterized by the best and most demanding game from Chelsea, but it was only the locals who found the goal.
The only goal in this part came in the 22nd minute and was Gylfi Sigurdsson, who scored from the penalty spot for 1-0.
Chelsea had a good chance with Reece James (26 ‘), but the defender’s shot was stopped by the post and the teams went to the break with minimal lead of the locals.
In the second half, it was again Chelsea who had something more out of the game and were twice close to the equalizer.

Everton had a penalty awarded in the 63rd minute, but the VAR canceled that penalty and by the end the figures remained unchanged and the locals won 1-0.
After this victory, Everton sees itself in seventh position with 20 points, while Chelsea ranks third with 22 points.
