Havertz is said to have regretted rejecting Bayern for Chelsea

German star Kai Havertz is said to have regretted his transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea this season and not to the big German club, Bayern Munich.

Havertz, like other big signings like Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, has yet to excel at Stamford Bridge and this has led to strong speculation in Germany.

According to the columnist of the big newspaper PICTURE, Raimund Hinko, Havertz has regretted choosing the London Blues.

Hinko believes Havertz can regret rejecting Bayern Munich rivals for Chelsea last summer.

“Kai Havertz, even if he does not trumpet loudly, will have cursed himself a hundred times that he passed from Leverkusen to the midfield of the boring Chelsea club and followed the call of money.”

“Havertz would have been so ‘drunk’ that I would not return Bayern’s interest as long as coach Hansi Flick was still interested in him,” said Hinko. / Telegraph /
