Italian club Milan are interested in transferring French Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
According to the medium Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan wants to sign with the Frenchman Giroud next month, when the winter transfer window opens.
This transfer would come especially as a successor to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is struggling a lot lately with injuries.
Without a contract in June, the Rossoneri expect Chelsea to sell for a low fee – if Giroud chooses to pressure them to leave.
For his part, the French veteran is now keen to stay with the Blues, where there is now a discussion about a new contract.
In Milan, there are concerns that Ibrahimovic will not be seen on the pitch until the end of January and want a new striker at all costs. / Telegraph /
