Jurgen Klopp has made it clear that Virgil van Dijk will not bathe for the rest of the season.
The German coach has been asked about the current situation of the Dutch defender, stating that it would be a miracle if he returns from the end of this campaign.
“At the moment, I do not know where these things come from,” he said. “No one really, no doctor, no one really told me there was a chance Virgil would play again this season.”
“I do not mean that it is absolutely impossible, but it is unlikely. It is unlikely. “We do not have to really discuss these things.”
“If we have space[në listën tonë të skuadrës së Ligës Premier dhe Ligës së Kampionëve] we would put them all, even when all the doctors tell us there is no chance. “We put them on because we believe in miracles from time to time.”
“But if there is no place, then we have to take these things into account and say, ‘The chance is not very big, so we have to make the decision.’ But if they are on the list, then it is only because we hope for almost a miracle. This is”.
Klopp confirmed on Monday that Joel Matip will miss the rest of the season due to the ankle ligament injury he suffered against Tottenham last week. Joe Gomez, another central defender, is also on the list of long-term injuries with a knee problem. /Telegraph/
