Klopp: Mane is not a simulator, Liverpool were denied two penalties
Jurgen Klopp has come out in defense of Sadio Mane, saying the striker is not a simulator and should have been awarded a penalty in favor of Liverpool in the match against Southampton.
The Reds suffered a 1-0 defeat thanks to an early goal from Danny Ings and now Manchester United have equal points and a game less developed than the champions.
Liverpool demanded a penalty in two cases that were denied by the referee, while risking very little in the offensive phase.

In one case, Georginio Wijnaldum’s shot ended up in the hand of an opposing player, while in the other, Mane was knocked down by Kyle Walker-Peters. The coach says that the Senegalese is sincere and that the penalty should have been awarded.

“The best situations were when Sadio had the ball. Anyone who says once again that Sadio Mane is a simulator is the biggest failure in the world. “This guy is trying to stand up.”
“There were two situations in which other teams would be given a penalty. ‘Touching the ball with my hand, I do not know who will explain this to me’, Klopp declared for Sky Sports. /telegraph/
