Georginio Wijnaldum has announced that he will leave Liverpool during 2021.
The Dutch midfielder has entered the last year of his contract and has not accepted its extension.
However it is not yet known whether the Dutchman will leave The Reds during the January transfer window or in the summer as a free transfer.
But Liverpool’s German coach Jurgen Klopp has already found Wijnaldum’s successor at Anfield.
Klopp has asked the club’s management to transfer Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches who has been reborn in Ligue 1 with Lille.
The 23-year-old is in very good form in the last two seasons and is seen by Klopp as the adequate replacement for Wijnaldum.
According to English media, Liverpool is ready to spend up to 40 million euros for the transfer of the Portuguese to Anfield. / Telegraph /
