Liverpool ‘play with fire’, postpones talks on Salah’s contract renewal

The big English club, Liverpool is postponing new talks for the renewal of the contract with the striker Mohamed Salah, who is related to Real Madrid.

The Egyptian striker expressed his admiration for Real Madrid and Barcelona in an interview with the newspaper AS last month.

Salah’s interview sparked much speculation about his long-term future at Anfield, but executives do not think his departure will happen.

According to the medium Star Daily, Liverpool are said to have other priorities before agreeing a new contract for their star, Salah.

Salah’s contract expires in June 2023, but Reds executives believe there are other players who will focus first when it comes to discussing new contracts.

Among them is the Dutchman Geroginio Wijnladum, whose contract expires in June. / Telegraph /
