Loris Karius appears as a surprising target of Bayern Munich
Liverpool-owned goalkeeper Loris Karius has emerged as a surprise target for German giants Bayern Munich.
The German champions may need to find support for Manuel Neuer in the summer transfer window, with current number two Alexander Nubel seeking to leave the club.
This would leave a ‘hole’ behind Neuer, with the other two goalkeepers at the club commonly referred to as ‘non-candidates’.
According to the medium Sport1, Karius, who is currently on loan at Union Berlin has emerged as a surprising target for the Bavarians.

He is set to return to Liverpool in the summer, although he would be more than happy to stay in Berlin, but it became clear that the Reds have no place for him.
So they would probably be willing to ‘donate it at a low price’, and that could suit Bayern.
It has been claimed that if Karius uses his case from now and at the end of the season; he could ‘make a name for himself at Bayern’. / Telegraphy /
