Romelu Lukaku is seen as an alternative to Erling Haaland for Barcelona, Chelsea and other teams, but Inter refuse to consider a sale.
The Belgian international is still just 27 years old, but scored 59 goals in 85 games for Inter, along with 58 goals in 90 games for his country.
This extraordinary form and scale of work have made him a hot name in the transfer market, showing that Inter had the right to invest 74 million euros to sign him from Manchester United in 2019.
According to the newspaper The Telegraph, Chelsea sees Lukaku as a valuable alternative to Borussia Dortmund striker Haaland.
At the same time, the Italian medium Corriere dello Sport suggests that Barcelona has a similar idea.
Haaland is their first choice as well, but Lukaku would also be on the wish list, especially if Lionel Messi would step down and transform their entire attacking approach.
Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has already worked with Lukaku at Everton in the 2016-17 season and knows the Belgian qualities well.
However, for all the speculation, Inter has absolutely no intention of parting ways with Lukaku and the striker admits that Inter has taken him to “another level”. / Telegraphy /
