Manchester United ended the run of 21 consecutive victories of Manchester City, winning 2-0 at the Etihad in the 28th week in the Premier League.
After the team led by Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer got three draws in a row, while there were doubts that it would be a meeting that would be dominated by Citizens.
But the Red Devils surprised the hosts, scoring the first goal through the penalty after just two minutes of play by Bruno Fernandes.
The second goal came from Luke Shaw, who made an impressive transition from the defensive phase to the offensive one.
With a double pass from Marcus Rasshford, the English defender easily scored on Ederson’s gate who just watched the ball as he entered the net.
The 25-year-old has had several consecutive injuries since 2015, but now seems to be at his best.
The appearance in front of City showed his class the best, while several times he made passes that were not expected of him.
Solskjaer has started to get the best out of Shaw and some videos posted on social media best show the form the Englishman is going through. /Telegraph/
