Three minutes later, the Englishman entered the list of scorers, catching Eduard Mendyn by surprise.
Kevin de Bruyne also took advantage of a great run by Raheem Sterling who failed to score, and the Belgian did not make a mistake in the 34th minute.
The second 45 minutes were calm in terms of goals, but The Blues tried to surprise City.
Callum Hudson-Odoi received an assist from Kai Havertz, to score for the final score 3-1 in the 90 + 2 minute, but Citizens triumphed.
After week 17, Manchester City is in fifth place with 29 points, while Chelsea is in eighth with 26 of them.
