English club Manchester United are preparing a surprise move for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Pedro Neto.
According to the British medium The Sun, The Red Devils are looking at the possibilities of a move over the summer for Neton, offering over 50 million pounds or 60 million euros.
United have made the signing of a right-back one of their top priorities and Neto’s impressive season, despite Wolves’ efforts, has put him on the shortlist at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils could have signed Neton, 21, for free in 2016 when he came to Carrington in rehearsals from Portuguese side Braga, but he did not do enough to convince them to take him then.
But now United consider the Portuguese representative – as a real alternative to long-term goals like Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho.
Manchester City rivals have also been linked with Neton, but the media insist they are now ahead of United in the race for Villas captain Grealish. / Telegraphy /
