Manchester United introduce the talent Amad Diallo – the club bought him for 41 million euros even though he had only played 24 minutes with Atalanta

Manchester United’s youngest player, Amad Diallo, has landed at the club’s training center where he was introduced.

The club formalized last week the acquisition of the striker from Atalanta, after an agreement was initially reached between the clubs in October.

Amad has signed a contract until the end of June 2025, with the possibility of an additional year.

The player will wear the No. 19 jersey at United, following in the footsteps of several big names – including Marcus Rashford and Day York.

What makes everyone surprised is that 18-year-old Amad Diallo signed for Manchester United from Atalanta for 21 million euros plus another 20 million euros in bonuses.

He played in the first team in Serie A 24 minutes.

Diallo scored four minutes after his debut with Atalanta, where he was substituted against Udinese in October 2019 (becoming the first player born in 2002 to score in Serie A).

The player also debuted in the Champions League, where he played 22 minutes against FC Midtjylland on December 1, where he showed some delicate touches, excellent runs and had two good shots. / Telegraphy /
