Mourinho criticizes his players for lack of ambition: We had 89 minutes to score more goals against Wolves

Jose Mourinho has criticized Tottenham Hotspur players for lack of ambition after the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Spurs missed the opportunity to move up to third position in the table by conceding a late goal in the match played at Molineux.

Tanguy Ndombele had given Tottenham the lead in the first minute, but Romain Saiss equalized in the 86th minute.

This was the fourth match without a win for the Portuguese team that holds the fifth place in the table and did not use the draw of Liverpool to narrow the difference in points.

“I am frustrated with the result, we had control of the match, we had 89 minutes to score more goals and we did not succeed.”

“It’s not just about scoring goals, but also being dangerous and ambitious, and for me this is a problem,” Mourinho told a post-match press conference. /telegraph/
