Arsenal unwanted Mesut Ozil has said that many at the club are feeling the absence of former manager Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners coach, Mikel Arteta, has not registered Ozil for the Premier League and Europa League matches this season.
His future has been much talked about especially after this ‘absurd’ decision, but Ozil has remained steadfast for his stay in the Emirates.
Ozil was recently asked if he considers Wenger a father, while he did not hesitate to show that he misses the former coach.
“He was a really fantastic manager and also a father figure to me and many other players.”
“I think a lot of people around Arsenal are really missing him,” said Ozil.
Wenger was one of the main reasons Ozil decided to leave Real Madrid for Arsenal seven and a half years ago on a 42 42.5 million transfer. / Telegraph /
