Real Madrid wants Sterling transferred

Manchester City English star Raheem Sterling has ended up on Real Madrid’s wish list to transfer him in the summer.

According to the English medium Daily Star, Real Madrid is interested in signing City star Sterling, as Phil Foden’s appearance for Pep Guardiola has made the Englishman less important than before.

However, the transfer of the English winger will not be easy for the Spanish royal club.

Sterling is reportedly still happy at his current home, with City destined to win the Premier League title and still in contention for the Champions League.

He still plays at high levels and has had a good season, contributing 15 goals in the league this year, and he has played in England throughout his career.

But Real will not stop as they apparently see Sterling as the ideal star in his best time to bridge the gap between old and young strikers who are not willing enough to bear the burden of the club themselves.

Their determined pursuit can be flattering and ultimately intriguing, and in the event of a transfer the price of Sterling will be very high. / Telegraphy /
