Gareth Bale’s return to form continued on Sunday, in Tottenham Hotspur’s victory over Crystal Palace.
In the first five months of his loan spell at Real Madrid, the Welshman failed to impress coach Jose Mourinho.
But, he has already secured a place in the basic formation of the Portuguese, becoming an important player for the team.
Bale scored two goals in the 4-1 win over Crystal Palace and was one of the best on the field along with Harry Kane, who also scored twice.
Thus, the winger has scored six goals in the last six games with the Spurs, while he had scored only 14 times in the first 16 games.
The 31-year-old has also scored in three consecutive home games (which he last did at Real Madrid in September 2013). /Telegraph/
