Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta insists he had no problem with Granit Xhaka’s mistake in the 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Arsenal was in the lead and was expected to get a valuable victory on the trip to Burnley, but a mistake by the Albanian midfielder made the match equalize and close 1-1.
This goal came after Xhaka from the area tried to open the game in the wings, but his pass hit Chris Wood and the ball ended up behind the back of goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
However, the coach of the Artillery, Arteta has justified the mistake of the boy from Prishtina, saying that it is something completely normal.
“It simply came to our notice then. It’s the way we play. “It’s the way I want to play and we just have to know the danger and the rules we have in certain areas and the type of balls we have to play,” said Arteta initially.
“We are talking about mistakes all the time and we are trying to cancel everything we give to the opponent.”
“If someone makes a mistake because they want to play, I will always support them. “If someone hides, I will not support him,” concluded the Arsenal coach. / Telegraphy /
