Jordan Henderson will miss at least two months with Liverpool, due to the injury he suffered in the derby with Everton.
The club from Merseyside has confirmed that the captain of “The Reds” will not be able to return until April.
Club leaders have not set an approximate date for his return, but BBC Sport writes that Jordan Henderson could stay off the pitch for a period of 8 to 10 weeks.
The midfielder underwent a surgical intervention and for this he will also miss the England national team in several matches.
These are the matches with San Marino, Albania and Poland, on March 25, 28 and 31, respectively.
It was initially thought the injury would keep the Liverpool captain off the pitch until the end of March, but then the true extent of the injury was realized.
He will thus join names such as Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Fabinho who are suffering from injuries. /Telegraph/
