Manchester City have revealed that they have not made any offers to Lionel Messi, although the Barcelona striker’s contract expires at the end of this season.
The Argentine star is free to talk to non-Spanish clubs and for this reason his name has been linked with a transfer to some of the top European clubs such as Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
It has recently been reported that Premier League leaders have made an offer increase for Messi.
But a club spokesman spoke to Goal.com, saying the latest news is speculation and there has been no conversation between them.
The media have repeatedly talked about a possible Manchester City interest in Lionel Messi, given that the English are led by the former Argentine coach, Pep Guardiola. /Telegraph/
