Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly being tempted by a possible return to Manchester United and is willing to reduce his salary to play again with the Red Devils.
The Portuguese star’s contract expires in June 2022, but according to The Gazzetta dello Sport, Ronaldo is considering leaving Juventus as the season did not go as planned.
The Old Lady is also in financial trouble, which is the main reason they decided to start a European Super League along with some of the most famous clubs in Europe, but the project lasted only 48 hours.
The Gazzetta dello Sport shows that Solskjaer has recently admitted that he would like to see Ronaldo return to Old Trafford, while Real Madrid President Florentino Perez dismissed rumors of a possible return of the player to the Bernabeu.
Ronaldo is in a deal of 31 million euros per year at Juventus and must cut his salary to return to United 12 years after his departure.
Reports suggest the 36-year-old would agree to cut his salary to return to Old Trafford, but would not accept a salary below € 20 million a year.
Juventus need at least 29 million euros from the sale of the Portuguese and would be willing to swap CR7 with Paul Pogba, although the Red Devils do not seem to be open to concluding such a deal. / Telegraphy /
