While the rifts between the founding clubs of the European Super League are continuing, the Liverpool footballers have come out openly against its formation.
While this seems to be one of the biggest challenges facing UEFA, the chances are high that clubs will pull out of their initiative.
The European football giants, 12 of them, decided to form an elite league, thus separating themselves from the UEFA competitions, the Champions League and the Europa League.
However, some of them have already changed their minds, while Liverpool players are putting pressure on the club to withdraw.
Among them is the Albanian midfielder, Xherdan Shaqiri, who has shared the common message of the Reds.
“We do not want it and we do not want it to happen. “This is our common position.”
“Our commitment to this football club and its fans is absolute and unconditional.”
“You will never walk alone.”
